Sir, We Wish to See Jesus.

When I sit under preaching I expect to hear the gospel. I expect to hear Christ and him crucified. Today in chapel I heard the gospel, I heard Christ crucified. The text was John 12. Included were the following verses:

Now among those who went up to worship at the feast were some Greeks. So these came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, and asked him, “Sir, we wish to see Jesus.” – John 12:20-21

The desire of the Greeks who came to Philip is much my prayer.

May it be all of our prayers. May it be the banner we fly.

May it be the call of our lives. May it be the demonstration of our lives.

Sir, we wish to see Jesus.
